Indian food delivery on the Costa Blanca: what to expect
One of the myths about Indian food delivery is that it "doesn't travel well" — that it goes cold, gets soggy or loses flavour on the way. In reality it mostly comes down to packaging and distance, not the type of dish.
Curries with sauce (tikka masala, korma, vindaloo) usually travel very well because the liquid holds both temperature and texture. What suffers most on a long trip is anything fried or crispy (some pakoras, poppadoms) — worth ordering knowing it may lose a bit of crunch on a longer journey.
On the southern Costa Blanca, home delivery is usually concentrated in low and mid season (November to March), when the restaurant itself is quieter and there's more room to cover a wide radius. Our delivery reaches about 20 km from Aguas Nuevas, covering areas such as La Mata, Playa del Cura, La Zenia, Zenia Boulevard, Punta Prima and Orihuela Costa.
Outside that season, pickup at the restaurant remains available all year round — you order on WhatsApp, it's ready for when you arrive, and you skip the wait at the table.
